Karupatti Paal Paniyaram Recipe

Ingredients

  • Pacharisi (Raw Rice) – 1 Tumbler
  • Ulundam paruppu (Urad Dal) – ¼ Tumbler
  • Venthayam (Fenugreek Seeds) – 2 Teaspoon
  • Karupatti (Palm Jaggery) – ¼ Kg
  • Pepper (Milagu) – 1 Teaspoon
  • Dry Ginger (Sukku) – 1 inch
  • Cardamom (Elakkai) – 5 Nos.
  • Water – As required

Method

 

  • Soak rice, urad dal, venthayam for 5 hours. Then grind it in mixie not to fine paste.
  • Let it be aside for 5 to 6 hours.
  • Take a pin don’t add oil, fry pepper & sukku for 2 minutes. Let it be cool. Now grind fried pepper, sukkur & elakkai in a mixie.
  • Now take a pan add required water bring to boil add smashed karupatti in it. Bring to boil. Now filter the karupatti water.
  • Take a vessel add karupatti water, now add grinded powder and boil it for 5 minutes.
  • Take Paniyaram kadai add 2 teaspoon oil, when oil heated add paniyaram batter and toast both sides.
  • Now soak paniyaram in karupatti water for 5 minutes.
  • Tasty Karupatti Paal Paniyaram Ready.
